Who are we?

Coach House Wealth Solutions provide financial planning solutions and advice through experienced and qualified advisers based in the UK. We are an appointed representative (AR) of Intrinsic Financial Services Ltd (IFS) who are part of the Old Mutual Wealth Group.

What data do we collect and why?

We collect personal information about you when you use our website, contact us about products and services, visit a financial adviser or carry out transactions with us. We collect information that is necessary for the provision of financial advice and administration of the products or services you are seeking, and for legal and regulatory purposes. We also collect and use your personal information where necessary to improve our services, our business processes, and to communicate with you. For the provision of advice we need to collect sensitive information, such as information about your health. To do this, we will ask for your consent.

We will always keep your data safe and secure, and where we share your data with other businesses to fulfil the purposes above we make sure they follow our instructions and keep your data secure. We will never sell your data, and we will not send you communications about unrelated services without your consent.

In order to check your identity, and protect you and your money from fraud, we may ask for personal information at the start of our relationship and in subsequent communications. This is a requirement of the 1998 Data Protection Act and is important to help safeguard you against potential crime.

We will only use your personal data in line with the provisions of the Data Protection Act. Your data will be used to process your request.

Sometimes we may provide your data, by electronic or other means, to:

  • Other companies within the Quilter and the Old Mutual groups of companies (if we regard this as necessary to service your plan)
  • Your financial adviser
  • A third party to verify your identity, in line with money laundering or other requirements (this may involve carrying out checks with credit reference databases)
  • Third parties who perform tasks for us to help us service your plan (these third parties may be based in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA)).
  • Whilst countries outside the EEA may not have data protection laws equivalent to the UK’s, we will ensure that third parties agree to treat your data with the same level of protection as if we were dealing with it.

We may also share your data with other organisations, including the police, and check and/or file your data with fraud prevention agencies and databases to prevent and detect fraud. If we are given false or inaccurate information and we suspect fraud, we will record this. Your data may be made available to third parties where required by law, court order or regulation.

Coach House Wealth may also use your data for assessment and statistical analysis purposes. Where we have obtained your consent to do so, we may also use the data to keep you informed about any special offers you may be entitled to or about products and services, available from Intrinsic, which we think may be of interest to you.
